Yes. EU visitors use their home registration; non-EU visitors register with the Danish authority. Denmark adds several national rules.

Denmark applies the EASA framework through Trafikstyrelsen, with a 120 m limit and national add-on rules on roads, buildings and gatherings.

The rules

Registration: Register the operator unless the drone is a toy or under 250g with no sensor; a drone certificate is required for 250g+ (valid ~3 years).
Remote ID: EU-wide on class-marked drones since 1 Jan 2024.
Maximum altitude: 120 m (100 m in Greenland and the Faroe Islands).
Line of sight: VLOS required; night flying allowed with a flashing green light and VLOS.
No-fly and distance rules: National add-ons: no flying over gatherings, no flying over roads with a speed limit above 70 km/h, keep at least 2.5 m from buildings without a fence/hedge, and get consent to fly over private property. Limits near airports, embassies and protected sites, check the "Drone Zones" map (droneluftrum.dk). (Note: older claims of a blanket city ban are outdated.)
Commercial and paid work: Commercial organisations must register, qualify pilots, label drones and carry insurance (min ~0.75M SDR); higher-risk is a Specific authorisation.
Notable restrictions: The road/building/gathering rules are the key national specifics.
Penalties: Reported fines up to ~DKK 10,000 (minor) and higher with possible imprisonment for serious breaches.
