Yes, but the UK does not recognise foreign or EU registrations. Get a UK Operator ID and pass the free Flyer ID test first.

Operator ID (£12.34/year, must be 18+) for any drone 250g+, or 100g-250g with a camera. Flyer ID (free online test, valid 5 years) for anything 100g+. Sub-100g without a camera needs neither. Fee checked with the CAA in August 2026.

Maximum altitude

120 m (400 ft).
