Terasor Beta Launch - Help shape the future of drone work — feedback requested!

Hi All,

Hopefully everyone on here would agree that the drone sector is already important, and is going to become even more so. Like everyone else, we're enjoying the ride, but we also have some concern that the big corporations are starting to position themselves to dominate the future. That's something we think needs challenge. If independent pilots are to thrive as the industry grows, they need a way to profit from their skills and a real voice in how the technology, and regulations, develop.

So we've built just that.

What we're tentatively calling Terasor is a global marketplace connecting clients directly with independent drone pilots. The premise is that anyone, anywhere, can use the app to find and engage a local pilot — aerial photography, surveys, inspections, whatever they need. No algorithm deciding who gets seen.

The app is fully functional and live, including the ability to live-stream to individual clients or the public at large – as shown in the clip below. Right now, we're running on Stripe's sandbox environment, which means no real money changes hands — but you can test every part of the app using 'pretend' credit cards and bank accounts. We invite you all to create accounts, explore the platform, and kick the tyres properly before we go live.

Ideally though, we're not just looking for testers. We genuinely don't know exactly what Terasor will become — which we think is an opportunity, rather than a weakness. The pilots who come in early, and of course their clients, will help shape the direction. What features matter? What's broken? What are we missing entirely? Those questions should be answered by the people actually doing the flying and their customers.

The drone industry is at an inflection point. Independent pilots need to come together and make sure the future works for them. We think this is where that starts.
