The clocks go back on 25 October: the green light rule after dark

UK clocks go back at 2am on Sunday 25 October, so more jobs will finish after sunset. A reminder of the rule that came in on 1 January:

- A drone flown at night in the Open Category must have a green flashing light switched on for the whole flight. - UK1, UK2, UK3, UK5 and UK6 drones are built with one. UK0, UK4, C0, C4 and older drones with no class mark may need one fitted.
- Some drones switch their lights off while recording. Check your app's settings before you rely on a built-in light.
- A fitted light adds weight, so check you are still under any limit that matters for your drone.
