The UK airspace dataset moves to a new cycle on 3 September 2026

UK flight restriction zones are republished on a fixed 28 day schedule known as the AIRAC cycle. The current one took effect on 6 August 2026. The next takes effect on Wednesday 3 September.

The schedule is set internationally, so the dates are the same everywhere, but the datasets behind them are national. This is about the UK one, published by NATS UK AIS from the UK AIP. The American and Spanish sources we use do not move on that schedule, so nothing here transfers to them.

A cycle change can add a restriction zone around an aerodrome, alter the shape or radius of one, or withdraw one. Whether anything relevant to you changed is not something a map can tell you unless it says which cycle it is showing.

One thing worth knowing beyond the dates. The UAS restriction dataset carries flight restriction zones only. It holds no temporary restrictions, no NOTAMs and no general controlled airspace, so it is a starting point rather than a full airspace picture.
